Stella Kim: VP Global Marketing
Stella Kim has over 25 years of medical device experience developing new therapies and markets, growing mature businesses, and achieving commercial results in the US and International markets. She has led the strategic marketing function developing technology and product portfolio strategies with R&D, clinical and regulatory teams as well as leading the commercial marketing function, commercializing global products and therapies with global commercial teams. Stella’s experience includes 16 years at Medtronic in the Cardiac Rhythm Management business and the Structural Heart division, where she led upstream marketing team developing the next generation TAVR, transcatheter mitral and surgical heart valve pipelines. At Abbott, Stela was the global marketing director for the MitraClip and TriClip platform, developing the new product pipeline for transcatheter mitral and tricuspid repair. During Stella’s tenure, she led cross functional team to commercialize the 3rd and 4th generation MitraClip, initiate the early feasibility study for TriClip and launch a new indication for heart failure patients with secondary mitral regurgitation based on COAPT, the Landmark clinical study. Stella's experience also includes a leadership role with a start-up neuromodulation company, creating a new category of spinal cord stimulation devices, leading US commercialization and preparation for IPO.
